At Anchor Deep Journals, we deeply value transparency, fairness, and trust. Whether you are reserving early or receiving your completed journal, we want you to feel clear and confident about what to expect.
Thank you for supporting a small, intentional brand built around meaningful preparation.
1. Pre-Launch Reservations (Kickstarter Model)
Some of our products — including the Elite Wife Becoming Journal — are offered through a pre-launch reservation model ahead of our Kickstarter campaign.
What Your Reservation Fee Means
A $1 (or stated amount) reservation fee:

Secures your early access to our Kickstarter launch

Guarantees priority notification before public release

Helps us estimate demand and prepare production quantities

Is not the full purchase price of the journal
The remaining balance (Kickstarter launch price: $36) will be paid through our official Kickstarter campaign when it goes live.
Refunds on Reservation Fees
Reservation fees are generally non-refundable, as they secure your early access status and support pre-production planning.
However, if:

The Kickstarter campaign does not proceed, or
-
The project changes materially,
We commit to communicating transparently and handling refunds fairly, in accordance with applicable payment provider policies.
2. Completed Purchases Through Kickstarter
Once the Kickstarter campaign is live and you complete your purchase:

Payments will be processed through Kickstarter.

Refunds will be governed primarily by Kickstarter’s platform policies.
We will always aim to act in good faith and provide clear communication regarding timelines, production updates, and fulfillment.
3. Returns After Delivery (Physical Products)
Once your journal has been produced, shipped, and delivered, the following applies:
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible:

The item must be unused

In the same condition you received it
-
In its original packaging
-
Accompanied by proof of purchase
Due to the nature of journals as personal-use items, we cannot accept returns on used products unless they are defective.

Returns must be requested and approved before being sent back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item.
Return shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to:

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
4. Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your item:

Where appropriate, we may:

Replace the item

Issue a refund

Provide store credit

5. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on:

Used journals (unless defective)

Sale items

Gift cards

Custom or personalized items

6. European Union – 14 Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, without providing a reason.
Items must:

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
